Abstract:

Where Imagination Becomes Reality is a animated commercial made for the Living Arts college, to inspire people to pursue their dreams. A small team of three had 9 weeks to plan concepts, and create this short animation. This commercial would go on to be used at the college during tours of the premises.

Responsibilities:

During the course of the project I had to wear many hats in order to best serve the team. I began this project as an concept and storyboard artist that eventually turned all the drawings into a short animatic. After this task I help with the environmental modeling of the scene. Eventually I was pulled from this task to work as an rigger for the main character Todd( the boy in the animation). Once the animation process begun I switched to an animator. The team divided the animation into shots and we determined who animated what based on their strengths. Lastly, I ended becoming one of the renderers for the project.
