Alone︱Digital Comic
Alone is a digital comic about the effects of loneliness.
Abstract:
What does it mean to truly connect with others, to see yourself as the other in the room? The digital comic “Alone” explores these very questions. Using a very simplistic visual aesthetic, human emotions are convey through a cold but lovable robot. So, please sit back, and enjoy this truly gut wrenching tale.
Responsibilities:
In order to see this project to completion first a script had to be written. Special care had to be taken sense this story is presented to an audience with no dialogue. After the script was complete a simple story board and animatic was created to test if the correct emotions where being conveyed. Next each panel was hand drawn and digitally painted using Adobe Photoshop. Lastly all of the renders were then imported into Adobe Animate in order to create a scroll-able digital comic.
